Searching for SMD-Codes

The SMD-Codes mostly consisting of 2 or 3 chars printed on a diode etc. are unfortunately not necessarily unique A "1A" either may be a BC846A or a FMMT3904. The codes are more or less arbitrarily assigned to semiconductors. Therefore one can exactly identify them only on comparing housings with drawings in PDFs. Even a manufacturer may use the same code for different devices !
